True Love

I know that most girls are completely obsessed with having a boyfriend. Our society has made us all believe that you have to find love and you have to have a boyfriend, and if you don't then you don't have a life. That is why most relationships don't last long.

When I was in 5th grade girls in school would talk about there boyfriends and then ask about mine. They sounded so surprised when I said I didn't have one. They would immediately say "I'm gonna help you find one. Do you like him? How about him? No, him? You like him, right?" When I said no, they would point at another, and start walking toward him, and I had no idea who he was. I would have to stop them. But, I know that this how most relationships start. A girl is desperate for a guy, and picks the next guy her eyes see to be her new boyfriend.

Okay, first thing. I would like to ask you why do you need a boyfriend? And, why do need a boyfriend right now? Oh, that's right. Because everyone else has one. It is sad what kind of world we live in. Kids and teens are constantly being pressured. But I will go more into that later.

Now, I would like to say that don't you think it would be better to wait? Maybe, you should wait for the right guy. I think it would be better to stop searching for love, and let love find you. Most girls go searching for love at a very young age. That is why I can only make a few people understand why I don't have a boyfriend. Because, I'm 14 and I believe that to be a very young age for love. I think I'm to young. We are to young to truly understand what love is, but we go searching for it. I don't think we will be ready for love until we stop and let love find us. Because, if you were not ready for love than it would not find you.
